The main responsibility of the Android framework/AOSP engineer are:
• Debugging and analyzing issues in Android system applications, framework and AOSP.
• Migrating to new Android version.
• Working with the engineering team, manger and technical experts.
• Working with the QA engineers to constantly improve the quality of the product.
• Track and resolve the defects.
Skill
• Previous experience with Android system application, framework, AOSP.
• Skilled in Java, Kotlin, jetpack
• Should have very good debugging skills
• Familiar with revision control, build process, code review tool like Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Jazz.
• Any experience in Android version migration or upgrade.
