Job Purpose

Drivel sales, establish leadership in Internet of Things (IoT) business in industry 4.0 segment and aligning with Vodafone IoT strategy and local operating conditions.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Keeping track of industry trends and  recommend future direction of growth
Understanding the value chain and ecosystem of IIOT, Industry 4.0 initiatives
Develop GTM strategy roadmap and execution plan in line with Industry 4.0 and drive further growth
Responsible for sales in the given region for Smart Infra/Industry 4.0 Sales
Work with the ecosystem of manufacturing and industrial customers to co-create solutions  that shape up the industry
Actively manage industry opportunities to drive new pipeline and customer acquisition
Identify and create JGTM with key IIOT partners who will help VIL in creating a space in the market
Actively assist sales pursuits and pre-sales efforts on RFP/RFX bids for client opportunities through the domain consulting and digital practice team and focus on winning/converting the opportunities
Work closely with the executive team to evolve the sales and marketing strategies to align with industry requirements
Within company, the position has primary working relationships with IoT Head, Directors, Management Teams and Service Providers. Outside the company primarily with key industry players and clients

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

Must possess knowledge of IoT technologies and related market ecosystem and economics
Must have domain expertise in Industrial IoT (IIOT) and skills in domain consulting
Understanding of industrial functions like production ops, Plant & Maintenance, HSW
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
C-Level customer relationship management with sales experience
10+ Years of B2B experience along with solution and consultative selling
Ability to drive sales end to end

Pipeline Generation and Management
Position the solutions and have Ability to Qualify the opportunity – Technically and Financially
Monitor the POC delivery and Securing Sign off
Creating & Submitting proposal
Negotiations
Contracting

Must have technical / professional qualifications

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Post Graduate in Management Studies (MBA), Engineering background or flair for technology, if graduate from any other stream
Minimum 7+ years of experience in industry with exposure to manufacturing, IIOT

Experience in sales, business development and executing structured GTM sales with alliance partners of IIOT eco system
