Job Purpose
This is a Commercial Bid / Large Deal management role that entails working on bid strategy and management of mid- size customer contracts (1 Cr AOV with a TCV cap of 3 crores.) across Sales segments. This role play a critical part in creating and executing the Bid Strategy through Operational intensity, Building Market Intelligence, Driving down Cost Base and orchestrating Bid Management. This role requires CFT engagement experience with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and orchestrate Bid Management along with charting out the Commercial strategy across Vodafone Business Services.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Improve Bit Capture and Win Rate by Leading Bid Management & co-creating the Bid Strategy
Develop Market Intelligence / commercial capabilities / Strategies for gaining competitive advantage through analytics & insights.
Work with the internal Stakeholders on improving the Cost Base and suggesting product / capability enhancements
Working Closely with the internal stakeholders on creating a Winning Bids strategy through innovative commercial modelling, stitching together a Be-spoke Solution etc
Using the Market insights and Deal Win / Loss Analysis to drive overall VBS Pricing Strategy and Alignment across functions
Constantly improve and Automate process to improve efficiency, reduce time to respond, fasten decision making and tracking, create transparency and increase scalability.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
Require a high standard of commercial acumen and the ability to demonstrate a strategic perspective, designing modifications and influence challenging stakeholders
Demonstrates leadership skills in , creating and driving Winning Bid Strategies along with taking charge of commercial thought leadership
Experience in working in a national sales or commercial function or complex deals/bids
Ability to demonstrate operational intensity and cross function collaboration skills to ensure timely response
Ability to think through and build long term capabilities through automation.
Financial and technical Understanding of the Cost Base Construct
Must have technical / professional qualifications
BE/B Tech or MBA
8 – 10 years’ experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry, handling Commercials / Bids / Sales Management
Required – MS Excel / Presentation Skills / Financial Ratios Understanding
